Sir, this man is from my division...
This is a blog dedicated to ITV's tv-series called Horatio Hornblower that ran from 1998 to 2003 and starred Ioan Gruffudd in the title role. The series is based on C. S. Forester's novels about the fictional character Horatio Hornblower, a Royal Naval officer during the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars. It's pretty gay. Watch it.

"I'm so glad you like Hornblower, it needs more people to like it. It's just as good as all the other fandom a everyone obsesses I've in my opinion, like Sherlock or Supernatural. Anyway basically your blog is fabulous! x"

I agree! It’s such a great show, I wish more people liked it. Maybe one day they’ll give it another go on tv… We’ll see. But thank you for your message, I’m sorry my reply is so late.

By the way, are there any “reasons to watch/read Hornblower”  posts going around Tumblr?
